Mandi has been involved with fitness since the age of three when she began gymnastics. She was a competitive gymnast for 16 years, earning numerous state and regional championship titles. She competed on the Louisiana State University gymnastics team in 2001.
During college, she began teaching competitive gymnastics and has continued coaching for the past 11 years. She also has extensive dance training and has taught ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop. She was a competitive dancer for four years earning multiple High Point awards.
In 2010, she trained for her first 5K race, while pushing her two kids in a double stroller. She ran her first 5K in May 2010.
Mandi has a Bachelor’s Degree in History from LSU with a minor in Mass Communication. She received her Primary Group Exercise Certification through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America and her CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
She is married to Matthew and they have three children, ages 4, 2 and 1.
