I graduated from TCU with a degree in Dietetics. After becoming pregnant with my daughter, my husband and I decided that it would be best if I stayed home. I have always been an active person by participating in volleyball, basketball, Muay Thai, and a Figure Competition. When my daughter turned 6 mo old, I joined a gym but had difficulty leaving her in the daycare for long periods of time, and was often called back to calm her down. Because of that, I stopped working out and would settle on taking long walks. Even though I managed to lose my pregnancy weight, I still felt sluggish and spent most days by myself. As time passed, I still loved spending time with my daughter but wasn't feeling happy like I thought that I should.
When a friend told me that she was joining Baby Boot Camp, I tried to find one in my area, but none were within a reasonable distance. I just knew that there were other mothers in my area that felt the same way, so I decided that I just had to bring this great program to Austin.
